WinVSTs grabs focus on mouseover
Hi
I'm using a number of winVSTs through linvst. It works quite nice, however - when I have a winplugin window open, it grabs the focus on mouseover, and that's really irritating. I've searched for a way to tell Wine that I want windows focused when I click on them, not when I accidentally mouseover them, but I can't find anything. Anyone experiencing the same - and know how to change it? |

Same here when I load up Spitfire LABS App to add a new free instrument. The mouse cursor dissapear under. SINE Player with the free Ochestral Tools Layer do the same thing. Not when I load it up in Reaper, but the standalone app.
Hope that's what you mean

No, I can't run the standalone apps - can't make wineasio work on my system, so this problem is with plugins running inside Reaper.
They'll grab the focus and put themselves on top of everything else. |

The Focus is done that way because some want keyboard input.
To disable it, read https://github.com/osxmidi/LinVst/tr...r/Remove-Focus Turning it off means that keyboard input won;t be available. Last edited by osxmidi; 04-19-2020 at 08:57 PM. |
