Default Continuous quantize swing slider?

Idk if this is a stupid question, but does there exist, or would it be possible to make a sort of script that continuously quantizes if you hold down the swing grid slider? If I could have it loop and play and the midi notes stay dragging to the grid, that would be amazing.

Although that's interesting, I don't think that will do what I mean, will it?

I was thinking more like I could have a loop of a beat playing, and as I slide my swing slider, I can hear the beat getting more or less swingy. This lets me audition exactly how much swing it has to match it up with my instruments.

The way it is now, I have to move the slider, stop, quantize and listen, and move again, and stop, quantize and listen, and so on. If you do it over too drastic a change, the quantize might move some elements also.

The other way, the midi notes are always snapped to the grid lines as they move, which means they'll never get closest to the wrong grid lines, and quantize to the wrong spots.

Anyone? I'd like to feature request this if it isn't possible. Maybe a script could do this? I essentially, just want to quantize continuously while swing grid slider moves.

It's possible for MIDI via script:

JS: MB Note Quantize

If you hear notes dropping out, try setting "Delay" value to non-zero, and compensate if necessary by position of the MIDI item in the track.
