New Reaper User. not responding error

Hi
I'm new to reaper came here from sonar and like what I see so far.
I'm only in week 2 of my trial and no iv run into reaper locking up it does it after a min or so or if you go to your web browser when you come back its locked not responding in the title bar.
Only think I did try was the web remote that I also cant get to work
anyone got any ideas?
