Default ReaRoute does not show up (Windows 10)

So I am running Reaper 5.52 and I have installed reaper with the ReaRoute box checked during installation. (I read the wiki).

But when I go into the Reaper preferences (Audio) and I selected ASIO as the driver type, the ReaRoute driver is not listed.

I have two other ASIO interfaces installed plus ASIO4ALL v2 and they all show up. Just not ReaRoute.

I'm running Windows 10.

ReaRoute drivers are designed for exporting audio from REAPER to another audio prog (or vice versa), not for generating audio. Use one of your ASIO devices for that. So what you are seeing is as it should be.

You can check ReaRoute is installed correctly by displaying routing matrix and selecting the options (right click) to show ReaRoute inputs/outputs.

The use of ReaRoute is explained in more detail in Chapter 23 of the User Guide.
