Default Render Queue switching my interface to 96KHz

Render Queue is switching my interface to 96KHz, regardless of what the render settings and session settings are. I have the session set to 44100Hz, audio device set to 44100Hz and when I render it from the Render dialogue, everything is processed in 44.1KHz. But when I add the same projects to the Render Queue, when processing the queue my Apollo interfaces switch to 96KHz.
I think this might be a bug? I want the render to be processed in 44.1KHz, even when it's placed in the queue.

Any ideas?

Another strange thing:

When starting Reaper, it will promptly switch the interfaces to 96KHz, then quickly it will go back to 44.1KHz.

I found the cause.
Default project settings were set to 96KHz, although I was completely unaware of that, because I have my startup template session that's 44.1KHz.

I'm still curious why would Reaper switch the interfaces to 96KHz during processing offline render queue with 44.1KHz projects and does that have any effect on the render itself?

Probably something about when opening the project in the cue, no project is "active" thus switching back to 96 and getting stuck there during the offline processing.

Something that was making me anxious was the fact that all UAD hardware had been switched to 96KHz. So I wasn't sure at what sample rate the plugins were running during the offline bounce. Once I got rid of the sessions default sample rate setting everything came back to the way it should be!

Reading through Facebook Reaper Users Group I found other people who share my findings, that there's a processing bottleneck related to PDC.
Please Reaper developers, let us know if this is fixable and if you're planning to address this issue.
