Is it possible to update ReaPlugs VST(ReaJS) to support the latest JSFX
Currently ReaPlugs VST is stuck at v2.36 64-bit (January 2 2016) and the latest JSFX is not supported for use.
For example: JS: Loudness Meter Peak/RMS/LUFS (Cockos)
Hope it is updated, thanks.

+1.
Sometimes I use metaplugin to build a conditional structure of plugins. I can't load js plugins, not even those jsfx plugins not supported by Reajs.

Here's a +1. It's very annoying that these plugins are not being kept up to date.

For running JSFX outside Reaper, this is currently probably the best bet:
https://github.com/jpcima/ysfx
(Haven't tried it myself because I have no need for it, but at least it's in active development. :P)

Is the current EEL compiler open source ?
Some years ago, I found that the EEL sources come with OSCIIBot, but AFAIK, OSCIIBot is not updated lately, either.

Thanks, thanks. I've tried it and it works. Now I can use jsfx in metaplugin, and that is very important for me. Thanks again.

Answering my own question:

They seemingly did their own independent implementation of the EEL compiler and library. It would be interesting to see a full comparison regarding quality and speed.
BTW.: tried it - found a bug (not very critical).

I also hope that reajs will be updated soon so that all jsfx are supported! ysfx does not work for me or is very buggy.

It would be great if there was an update here. Or an explanation from the developers that this is no longer being developed.
