Default Edit Automation question

Hello guys!
I want to make an edit volume in a specified time section on a Track.
Instead of creating 2 couples of points at the borders, is there any easier way?
Perhaps an action?
Thanks in advance

There's an action: Envelope insert 4 points at time selection. Assign that action to a key stroke and away you go.

You need to make sure that you've clicked on the envelope in order to select it.

Or just make a time selection and use the automation track fader.

Or make a time selection and drag the section you want whilst holding ctrl+shift (I think, not at DAW at the mo).

Yup. That works, too. Ctrl+shift. (Didn't know that one, myself.)
