Default No longer able to paste values into plugins?

I used to have alot of number values stored in a text document on the side, and copy/paste those numbers into text fields in JS plugins. I did this (on Windows) using key combinations CTRL+C and CTRL+V, for copy and paste.

This no longer seems to work. When I try to paste a value into a text box in a JS plugin, using the key command CTRL+V, I am greeted by the dialog box you can see in the picture; "No item in clipboard to paste!"

I can no longer paste values into text fields of JS plugins using CTRL+V key combination. However, if I right click with my mouse inside the text field, to bring out the right click menu, and choose "Paste" from the menu, then I am still able to paste values in. And it always works.

But it no longer works with a key combination. This is a big nuisance to me, but I guess it's not as bad overall for everyone. If it bothers you, then by all means raise your voice here too. I cannot pinpoint exactly when this change happened.

I could use some of you to verify if the same thing happens to you too, or if this is a local problem. Though I'm having trouble seeing why it would be.

Thanks
/c.

I bring in values from Excel/Desmos a lot. CTRL+V has never worked for me. Always have to right click. It's a pain.
