Default Some track because I have some time at the moment

https://www.mboxdrive.com/AUD-20200402-WA0000.mp3

A short track of a song I like by a musician I like.
I used plugins I usually do not use so often like Thermionik Kazrog amps and Recabinet or scarbee A200, furthermore readelay and reacomp for vocals and bass, a little TSAR1 reverb on guitar only with VariComp, AKG Solidtube, Fender Strat, Precision e-bass in master chain Drawmer S73 and a master limiter.

Cool tune, but the instruments don't blend.

Yeah, you are right, it is more like in a rehearsal room with no perfect sound back in the day.
I try do find a way using as little eq, compression and reverb as possible. Lots of tracks nowadays are glued and squashed to death.
Well, just experimenting...

Good work, Naji. I like the semi-dissonant contrast between rythm guitar and keyboards. Love the chorus and backing vocals.

I might narrow the drum panning to about 50% L & R rather than 100%. All that width on the room sound dominates too much. I also might work on the keyboard tone to make it sound more rhodes or wurli-ish. Maybe a subtle phaser so it doesn't sound like a square wave (or whatever).
