Default Envelope Points Don't Move With "Reposition Selected Items" action in SWS?

I was showing someone how to use the Reposition Selected Items" action (in SWS Extension pack) because it is so awesome and I use it all the time. But someone wrote back and said it didn't move the envelope points for any automation on any of the items moved in this way.

I double-checked, making sure I had "Move Envelope Points With Media Items and Razor Edits" enabled. And he's right! Envelope points move just fine with a manual move of an item. But when I use Reposition Selected Items, the envelope points do NOT move with the items.

Is there a way to move the automations with items using this oh-so-useful tool?

Hi,

This is per design, and is actually expected.
This action, list most other actions/scripts, only works on Item Position property; They don't do any editing event which would trigger other series of behaviors (moving envelope points, rippling etc etc).

This is actually scriptable in some ways I guess. But I can see lots of difficulties on the ways, it isn't a simple thing to add at all, and there would be several approach to that with various considerations to have.

Usually, editing is made first and enevelope points after, that is why it isn't an issue in most cases.
