Default Timeline playback is not looping

When I have the loop option on the transport enabled, it won't loop. It never did this until today, and I installed the update last week (though I didn't use the update until today. Homework sucks!) Is anyone else experiencing this too?

I'm not, and I don't know what would cause it, but it sounds like a job for

Start > All Programs > REAPER > REAPER (reset configuration to factory defaults)

You'll need to re-establish your audio device, VST paths, and any customisations that you use, but if it's just a setting that got changed somewhere, that should fix it.

Well, that worked. But there goes an hour of customizing toolbars and shortcuts. XD

But thanks. Selecting loop points is definately not a long-term solution.

Sorry you had to reset everything, should have waited a bit longer for more responses. I'm pretty sure it was this:

'Link loop points to time selection'

If this is off and you don't make new loop points, your time selection is irrelevant.

In the future, two things:
1) make a copy of the Reaper root folder before resetting, so you can revert back (or even partially revert back by dragging files into the reset/reinstalled folder), and
2) search the preferences using the search tool. I located that preference by searching for 'loop point'
