Default oxygen 61 disconnects while recording. allways.

hi there! I have an oxygen 61 midi-keyboard (I guess it´s first gen) and I got some problems with it. normally that keyboard worked just fine. but after a recent new-installation, it disconnects itself... i dont know what it is. only when I hit "record" after 2-3 seconds the Midi stops an reaper doesnt receive any data anymore. to fix it I have to restart reaper (and the the problemreturns, of course).
ever hear about that behaviour and some tips to fix it? tried different cables/ports before, also re-installed the Driver.
thanx, Eric

You can try "Reset all MIDI devices" 41175 action to check if the keyboard can be seen again, without restaring reaper. If so, it may be a port on your keyboard that is faulty and disconnecting.

Hm, what do you mean by midi loop? Loopfunction is off.

Hi,
By midiloop I mean when data that is destined for midi out comes back in the midi in causing midi buffer overflow.

ah, okay, thanx! maybe it was something like this. I had something wrong in the settings. I guess it was because I had the Keyboard set for "Output" too. Now it works fine.
Sorry, I´m taking my first weak steps here
