Friday Cover: Gerudo Valley Theme - Legend Of Zelda

It sounds cool and heavy, but I've played most of the Zelda games and I would never guess that this was a Zelda cover.

Nice cover, i really dig the tune although i've never played Zelda.
Many years ago, i was kind of active in the Overclocked/VGMix community.

If i remember correctly, there was a guitar cover of the Gerudo Valley theme too. I'll post the name of the artist, once i've remembered.

Btw: I guess you know the band Machinae Supremacy? ;-) They kind of introduced me to guitar covers of video games music, maaaaaany years ago.

It is from Ocarina of time, though some elements of it are my own concoction, as the song itself is fairly short.

I actually have never heard of them. I have heard a lot of video game covers on youtube, and had some requests to do some after I did some instrumentals a while back.

I'll check them out though, as I love hearing other peoples interpretations of video game music (and other music in general)

I recommend Sidology Episodes 1, 2, and 3, which are awesome covers/medleys of old C64-games music and can be found on youtube.

They are a finnish band (started in the early 00's) known for the heavy use of the original C64 sound chip by their keyboard guy.
