Default maybe mixer fader labels not in the correct place

hello, i am new in the forum and since some days evaluating the usefulness of reaper for my work. What i like the most until now are the routing possibilities.

The mixer fader labels:
When i put the fader to the max it shows +12db and the fader is beneath the 0db label.
when i put the fader to 0db it is somewhere beneath the -18db and the -12db label, estimated at around -16db.
Is this how it should be, i'd expect it beneath the -12db label?
If it is correct like this, what is it that i don't recognize?

thank you for the possibility to try out this DAW.

Hello and welcome.

This isn't the correct subforum to post bug reports or questions about using Reaper. This a subforum for 3rd party developers to discuss programming with the Reaper extension API.

The fader and the meter do not correspond.
They are scaled differently.
