I wonder if you can hack a font file to say it's a bold variant....

Already done it! Just need to find free software for mac that doesn't limit the export. Used Fontographer 5 demo.
https://fontforge.org/en-US/downloads/mac-dl/
Looks good but I'm on OSX 10.11, not supported.
BTW - is there any way to change the size of the transport font?

I like it very subtle, but I think you're right, I may up the brightness a tad on the selected track.

I think that LED font is a bit so tough to read at a glance compared to the original. I get what you're going for and agree the original wouldn't be the best choice for this theme, but maybe there would be a better choice for the LED font or maybe it's even just a color or weight thing. For instance, the word TrackComp sticks out much more than the time, and that's a pretty critical element IMO. Just one opinion though. The theme looks very good on the whole. I look forward to a 1080p version. Great job!

This one looks really good, b0se (mr. 6950x). Great work!
Do you know if it's difficult for a user to change the depth of the indenting of tracks within folders? (I think I personally would like to try making it shallower, perhaps just 1/3 of your version, even though [or perhaps even because] it breaks the current alignment.

Good memory!
Yes you can use any indent distance as it includes the V6 theme adjuster script.

Here's an example at 1/2 indent (my favourite):
Updated media volume knob also:
Tweaked the 'no FX' button so it's more obvious the track has no FX in peripheral vision:
Coming along nicely :¬)

This looks really good, b0se.
one little niggle nags at me, though.
The ENV state is not very clear at a glance.
I was thinking possible alternatives could be:
1) make the TR grayed out, but let the other states remain as they currently are.
Like what you did with monitor button (recmon) in the MCP.
This would keep in line with the current look, but still gives a quick notice that the ENV has been activated.
2) make the symbol or the letters change color to reflect the current state.
I think #1 retains the look of your theme best, while #2 would be a concession towards functionality.

One more suggestion: that little 1 or 2px separator for each mixer channel not extending all the way down to the bottom of the channel is making it look like the channel names and numbers are off-center to the channel. They're not. But the nearest visual reference line to the channel name is the vertical fader background line, which is indeed off-center to the text. So when you're looking down, it's visually confusing. I think extending that little 1px separator all the way down to the bottom of the channel will fix this.

Thanks Lucas. I had chosen this way as trim and read are passive states, as such, and with the other active states there's an (ugly!) overlay that appears (that I need to find and remove - any ideas?).
Like the idea of colouring only the symbol or the text though, so will play with that today. Thanks!

I posted about this on the last page. Managed to fix it on the top section (join the vertical mixer separator line), but couldn't get it working for the label background. It's my intention to fix that though.

Agree on the coloring of automation modes.
Also the peak values in MCP are being cut off, while the fader values are small, so maybe just flip the font sizes of those two.
Great stuff anyway.

That's a Reaper V6 bug, does it on the default theme too. No idea how to change those fonts, need official support here.

I wouldn't call it a bug as such because you can fix that truncated/clipped text issue:-

BTW, to fix the volume fader clashing with the buttons, try reducing the width of the fader in the PNG file.

Thanks! Hopefully the first beta this evening - it depends how much time I can spend on it today. If not, tomorrow (I'm getting close to finishing).

While this is true and I can understand your reason here, 'Read' is still an activated state for the button that users need to be able to scan for quickly or notice easily.
I think just making the 'TR' state look like the monitor 'off' state would be enough and keeps it consistent with the theme.
OTH, colors are always fun...

It looks like another image is masking the BG boundary lines.
I can't say for sure without direct access to the theme, though.
Try turning off the layout elements and see if the BG lines return.
If you can't figure it out, I'll look at it when you post the beta.

Indenting was my only "gripe", but it just keeps getting better for every little update. This theme is going to be my favorite, I'm sure. So clean. It's obvious that you have an eye for this! Thanks for the effort and for sharing!

You're right, I had my wires crossed. I tried colour versions but didn't like them (inconsistent on various track colours), so opted for a faded default state. The 'chrome' enabled options stand out nicely:
I've also fixed the channel volume readout bug in rtconfig, but it borked the graphic alignment so I had to tweak (hack!) them to get it all lined up. Looks nice now.
On that note, @FunkyBot - also got the track label borders sorted, it's now consistent from top to bottom.
Lucas - very much appreciate your help. This is the ugly overlay:
BTW - here's how the updated envelope icons look in the TCP:
Lovely jubbly.

A minor "gripe," if you will, and to be taken with a pinch of salt as it is only a personal opinion.
I would put the "volume label" directly above the fader.
Don't let this comment detract from what you have been doing here because I think that what you have done is looking great

If the faders were centered in the MCP I'd want this, but I don't mind them above the meter label /scales.

New volume slider for those that use it (much prefer the dial/knob though)!

This looks awesome! Not unlike Fusion, which is my favorite. The only thing I would change is the layout - which for me would need to show FX, Volume, Route, M/S and Pan for tiny track sizes.
