Ableton-style global quantize
So, without using Playtime... just Regions... (I have Launchpad X, which is midi-mappable... 64 pads could be 64 different "Scenes" so to speak, when applying Actions )
Wondering if there's a way to keep a region looping, and if I select a new region, some type of "global quantize" (1-bar, like Ableton's default), that will activate and loop the new Region I triggered, but with that 1-bar space before, instead of reaching the end of the Region (which is the normal behavior). Thanks for any help! Just annoyed greatly with Ableton, lately... like it for a lot of things, hate it for more.

I don't think so.
I made this request with the hope that we could do our live gui and workflow: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2183241 Seems not much interest in it. |

You can change the smooth seek to one measure = 1 bar...
Nothing smaller than that though. So you can trigger regions with smoothseek, and then change will happen after measure instead of waiting till end of region. Its under pref/audio/seeking |

Thanks! I discovered this from another thread... one bar seeking is great and very useful for this purpose, for sure. Would be cool if we could do half a bar or a beat but not a big deal. I like how it can be 1 bar, which is usually plenty of time.
Thanks again!
