Default Unrecognized .ogg header (SOLVED)

I have an interesting problem.

Reaper cannot seem to properly find a bunch of converted (wav to ogg) ogg files (SSE3 compression). I am attempting to batch convert an entire folder structure of Reaper projects to use ogg instead of wav.

If I manually drag in one of the ogg files, it works no problem.

However, after doing a find+replace of .wav to .ogg in the Reaper file, it fails to load the .ogg files. If I open the media item's source properties it says 'Unknown file header.'

Any advice? Maybe some software which can rewrite the files properly?

I used dbPoweramp to do the conversion. I would have used Reaper but it won't let you open more than one directory at once and I have 1000s of directories to convert.

Default

Resolved, the problem was I should not have used find/replace. I thought I had done that before.

Real fix is to load the project as normal and when it complains about a missing file, redirect it to the .ogg version and it will be smart about the rest of them, too. Only, it will ask this once per directory (for example, the 'impulses' folder created by ReaVerb).

Sweet!

My demo projects and jam recording files folder is so much smaller now.
