Default ReaSamplOmatic5000 on Linux can't switch samples with arrow keys

One thing I like is that if the focus is on the sample , you can use the arrow keys to switch to next/previous sample in the folder quickly. This doesn't seem to work on Linux... I cannot make the sample dropdown in focus. Pressing the arrow keys goes to some other UI elements but it doesn't switch the sample.
I'm on Manjaro KDE. Does it work on your Linux?

Yes. that lists the samples in the folder and you should be able to switch to next and previous using the keyboard arrows once it is on focus. Can you?

I can, but then I have to press enter to load the sample and then the list is closed.

I tried it just now with some drumsamples and it works for me with mousewheel. I can roll up and down and hear all the samples I loaded - one by one.

But I mean with the list closed. Once you select a sample, and don't see the list, just the selected one, you should be able to switch samples with the keyboard.

Only mousewheel no arrow keys. I'd like to have arrow keys too
