Keyboard shortcut option for momentary or latching

I use this UI feature extensively in graphics design programs. A simple example would be snapping, where a normal press will latch toggle snapping, but holding down the key would temporarily toggle snapping until released.

Could pave the way for some powerful capabilities when used with SWS cycle actions.
