You could put it on the track FX but automate the Wet/Dry so it's only on during that take... the old fashioned way.
You'd have to do that in any DAW without take FX, so think of it instead as a time saver when you don't need to automate it (which is most of the time) and when you do need to automate it, just returning back to the old way of doing things for a bit.
