Default Commissioning someone to make a custom theme?

Hi,

As much as I love Reaper, I've always been fighting with the theme I use. I'll either download a ton of them from the stash or fiddle around with one until I get frustrated. And since I don't have the time to sit and create the exact theme I'd want anymore, I was wondering if I could commission someone here to create it for me?

I've always been a fan of the older Cubase designs, so it'd be something similar to that. Something like Cubase SX's arrangement view, minus the Cubase-y inspector, layout, and "blue-washed" color.

I'm not looking for anything too crazy, just a lighter, minimally designed theme that's not just Reaper re-skinned to be Cubase. Anyways, if you're interested, let me know what price would work!

Don't underestimate the stock themes. Set it to Session and dig in. I bet if you start getting good on a stock theme, things will get easy.
I struggled at first and figured Reaper default themes would always be there. So I liked session view the best. And just kept working it.
Now all other daws seems strange and clunky to me.....

I'm not super huge on Cubase-like themes because they just make Reaper look like a Cubase clone. I was more of meaning the minimal design/color scheme if that makes sense!

I decided to do this shortly after posting haha. I figured that if I can't find someone to commission a theme from, I'll just get used to the stock one.

Also, what does "Set it to Session" mean btw?

Look into the main Options menu, Layouts. In there you will have several different layouts for the panels and transport. Some of the Mixer Panel layouts are named "Session Mixer" and they have quite a different look compared to the regular default layout.

well depending on what you want in a custom theme, which means how much work it is to create or change, would matter...

It might be a lot of work or might be just a little... you'd have to tell a lot more about what it is you actually desire...

I'd bet we can find someone to work with you if you do tell more.
