Default Mouse seeking on Waveform in Media Explorer ISSUE.

Dear all,

Very longstanding issue i have in Reaper:
In Media Explorer, when leftmouse clicking in the Waveform Peaks View, to "seek" in a file, Reaper interpretes this leftmouse click as a (small) mouse-drag action.
This is very annoying, especially cause i always have Loop enabled in Media Explorer.
When then seeking in a file by leftclicking, per accident, a small selection in the file is made (cause the misinterpretation of left mouse click) and this small section is then looped, leading to awful "stuttery" sound ofcourse.

I have tried different mouses and different mouse settings in OSX Prefs, but to no succes.
For my work, i need to do alot of file seeking in Media Explorer so it would be great if this issue becomes solved.
Are there other people experiencing this same issue ?

OSX 10.14.2
Always latest (pre) version of Reaper 64bit.
