JS plugin doesn't work on Mac, but work well on PC
Hello. I have a custom JS plugin and it works well on Windows, but does not work on Mac. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Did you try to use the dll-file on Mac? That doesn't work. You need to use the .dynlib-version on the Mac.
You can download it at: https://github.com/juliansader/ReaEx..._ReaScriptAPI/
Or do you mean, you have a Lua-script, that needs the JS-plugin?
Keep in mind, that you probably need to use the v0.951-version currently, as the newer version only works on pre-releases of Reaper yet.

JS plugins are largely OS-ignorant. Reaper compiles them when you load the plugin on a track. There might be something wrong in the code which will cause a bug that's specific to a particular Reaper on a particular OS, but it would be rare. All the JS plugins I've tried worked fine in Windows, OSX and Linux in the native Reaper versions for each OS.
If you don't specify the plugin (and/or post it for analysis), you probably won't get any help.

It works on Linux. I wish I could help, but I don't know how to code. At least now you know it also works in Reaper for Linux.
Out of curiosity: are you using it before your VSTi? You need to do that. If you put it after the VSTi, it won't make the VSTi monophonic/legato.

Well, it seems to work fine here on my Mac (in REAPER 5.965/64 on macOS 10.13.6). What exactly doesn't work for you i.e. do you get an error, or... ?

This isn't a script; it's a plugin. If you're trying to use it as a script, that's your problem. If you need assistance getting the plugin installed in the correct directory, and loading the plugin in your project, let me know. (If you already know this, I don't mean to offend you. I just want to be sure you know what it is, just in case.)
Another suggestion: attach a very simple sample project to a post, that people who use Mac can try. Use only built-in Reaper plugins (ReaSynth for instance), plus that legato plugin. If you can't make that legato plugin work with Reaper's own VSTi on your Mac system, but it works on other Mac systems, then you would be closer to discovering the source of the problem.
Also mention the version of Reaper you're using.
