Looks killer Albert! At a glance it could look like you are really using PT! Keep up the good work! Your time & efforts are much appreciated.

Cheers,

So why post another Mockup if you have no time to finish a theme ? What's the point ? Getting your ego massaged ?

I've offered several times to pay for a finished Solaris SSL theme but obviously it's never going to be finished. Shame as you have the opportunity to create the finest them ever to Grace a DAW but are unable to focus....

Yes I know harsh words.....sorry I'm just being honest.

...And yes I know the "Defenders of Albert" will be along in no time to placate him.....and yes he certainly has a right to do whatever he pleases and owes no one anything...
I just find his constant mockups an annoyance and have the right to express that opinion. I don't come here often and it's always to check on the progress of Solaris SSL and seeing that there will be none I have little reason to return.....carry on....

Albert, don't listen to these folks. Your creativity gets us all excited for sure, but for people to prance around and get bitter because YOU won't accommodate THEIR appetite is immaturity and worth a beating in the face.

People, LET THE MAN WORK, dammit. I'd hate to see him quit out of frustration cuz you IDIOTS don't know how to wait and just keep harassing. If he doesn't wanna take $ to speed things up for your "oh-so-important schedule", so frikkin what! My God! This community used to be better than this...

Albert - keep up the good work. Phenomenal.

I usually stay out of these heated discussions, but I like Albert`s stuff too much to just sit on my hands here.

When you make a new song (I assume you're some kind of musicians since you guys are on the reaper forum), do you write it , record it, mix it and master it without ever asking for opinions at any stage of the production?
So you release the final print without asking anyone?

Mockups are an essential part of theming. It's like singing your new song idea a Capella to a a band mate so he can come back with more Ideas.

In my case, since I have a family to feed and a very time consuming job, so writing a new song can takes months... And I'm not dealing with walter code here.

So give the guy a break, please?

And Albert, please never stop your wonderful work

Albert, just do your thing. Even if you give something away for free,
(some) people will still complain.

This looks excellent. The MCP's 'I/O' & 'routing' GUI
elements look fantastic! The MCP overall is clear &
easy to look at.

I think this theme is great. I like it a lot and think you've done a fantastic job.

If these things are in the works - no worries I can wait! I was wondering though if maybe it's a settings/options thing that needs to be changed for the following things to work with the theme...

The FX param doesn't do anything for me when I click it. Also, I can't get any "in track controls" to show up in the TCP. Is there something I have to do in settings, or is it still in the works?

Hi albert. your theme looks stunning as usual. Probably the best one so far.

My only humble request would be - Please, make a mixer layout that could work on laptop. Maybe with 50 - 60% the current height of the fader. This would really help a lot of us mobile users.

Everything else looks mindblowing. Extremely good!

Wow Albert !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a fuck load of work (excuse my French)

Your going to have a nightmare getting folders to work with that tcp

Personally I think it take a tremendous amount of work to get this far and its going to be hell coding the tcp .

PM me if you want a Little help.

All the best...

Jed

P.s. I agree the fader length is to long and should be reduced by at least 25%

Gosh, whats wrong with you guys? If you don't like anything except Reaper, don't look at any theme threads.

I really looking forward to use this awesome theme.

Maybe a little improvement: a small scale at the mixer meters? Maybe just -nothing, -48, -36, -24, -12, -6, -3 and 0?
And maybe the option to hite the fx parameters at the TCP?

We all know that ProTools is very eye friendly, you can work for hours with no fatigue. So a theme for Reaper inspired in the ProTools GUI would be great, mainly for the people like me that´s been working with ProTools for the last 10 years but recognice that Reaper is a superior DAW.

If you can give us the best of both worlds (not copying ProTools GUI for the sake of it but making a better GUI) it would be a killer theme and a solution for all those that want to make the transicion from PT to Reaper.

Keep the good work!

'll try .......... I have to say, it is very important to have a good level of brightness and contrast on the screen .... often default settings is very bad and causes a lot of eye strain

I know this theme could be used by many and it looks very good. But I want my Reaper look like Reaper... not like an inferior program... hihihi
sorry.. I just had to say it.

Albert.. keep working on it as you have time.. take it easy.. and don't listen to bad comments.

While I certainly don't want Reaper to look like PT I have to admit being able to read plugins and send names without binoculars would be an improvement here

albert....I have been using your Solaris Pro theme as my default for a while now and love it. Have spread out across dual 24" monitors.

But I must say I am really really looking forward to getting my hands on this theme. Wonderfully gorgeous.

Thank you for all your hard work and willingness to share!
