Default Routing midi to Harmony Engine (Antares)

I thought this would be a straight forward thing. But I can't crack it.

I used to have this setup in ProTools Mp9 where I input both midi and audio into
the channel starring the Harmony Engine plugin. That way I could play around with a
Microphone and Keyboard to create Vocal Harmonies on the spot.

This would be accomplished by creating 2 tracks, 1 midi, 1 audio.
Then I'd route the midi channel to the Harmony Engine Plugin.

I can't figure out how to do it in Reaper.

How I've set up reaper now, without effect:

* 1 Audio channel with Harmony Engine setup to receive midi. (input Mono In 1 ).

* 1 Instrument Channel (input midi all)

* Setup midi Routing on the Audio Channel to receive the midi from my Instrument channel on all channels.
(This automaticly created a "Send" on the Instrument Channel)

* Both Channels are Armed for Recording.

Both Channels are receiving Input. But the desired effect is not accomplished.

Where did I go wrong? And can it even be done?

Have you tried doing it the other way around?

1 track with midi input that has the harmony engine plugin and receive audio from another track.

Also try sending MIDI to one channel only.

(I assume monitoring is enabled where appropriate)

"Receive" is audio. I suppose you need to use Reaper's midi bus feature to route midi from one trafk to anoter. -Michael

This was done automatically.

I tried it with one channel. It made no difference.

Reaper features several (64 ?) midi busses (16 channels each). Everywhere you connect midi, you can select a bus. (See docu). -Michael
