Default Reaper not communicating with interface: Scarlett 4i4

Hey guys, so I'm able to set my audio device as my Scarlett 4i4 3rd Gen interface but I'm not receiving any input nor is any signal coming out of my Reaper, despite there being signal on the tracks and the master. The interface itself is receiving input and I can play music through my monitors outside of Reaper no problem. I've tried reinstalling and also using ASIO4ALL with no luck. Has anyone else run into any similar issues?

I've attached a screenshot of my audio preferences.

EDIT: DirectSound also doesn't work.

EDIT 2: I've tried portable install as well as several older versions of Reaper, still no luck.

that looks to be set up correctly, so double check the connections from the interface to the speakers / headphones & check your routing in Reaper (maybe you've assigned main out to 3 & 4 or something?)

longshot....
Where in preferences it says ASIO Driver, is Focusrite USB the only Focusrite option there in the dropdown?
I have 2 options but only one works - seems to be a leftover driver something or other.

Seems like something similar to this was the issue! When I looked in my PC's sound settings it seemed like there was somehow two separate versions of the driver installed somewhere? I uninstalled both and did a fresh reinstall of the Focusrite drivers and it's working fine now!

Thanks for your help
