filter for long lists needed (track in/outs, sends, track templates)

My audio interface has 128 inputs/outputs. If I klick on a track's input selector to chose an input (especially mono input) a huge list appears and I have to endlessly scroll through it to find the desired one. Changing the way of presenting the interfaces inputs/outputs could make this procedure a lot less cumbersome.

Same thing with choosing sends or track templates (I have a lot of those). If there was a filter line on top of these lists like in the fx plugin browser this would help a lot!
