Darker Dreams by Dimaension X
A step towards something a little different. The guitars are less emphasized, while piano and other more "organic" instruments like violin and a few other stringed instruments are brought forward and present the melody. Not metal, maybe not even "rock" music. More like melancholic ambient post-rock with influences from cinematic soundtrack music.

Listen only on the first one and it was more jazz than anything else.
It was really great though.

Yeah, I probably should include "jazz" in the tags for this one, but I wasn't sure. Thanks.

I'd say "fusion". It's very somber compared to your other albums, and most fusion albums I've heard, actually. Anyway, a pleasing listening again.
You're putting out a lot of stuff, how do you keep up? Regards.

I listened to most of it and I must tip my hat to you my good sir. Fantastic job!!! Sounds great and I like the abstract/unconventional nature of the tunes.
cheers

Thanks for the comments, folks. Yeah, fusion of some type probably fits, but this particular set of tunes is a bit more "melancholy", even a bit "sad", unlike must fusion which tends to be a bit more upbeat and "jazzy".
I was listening heavily to The Nikki Grace Experience, and it really put me into this mood. I highly recommend checking them out. I really wanted to put the piano up front on this one, so hopefully my piano playing (and some piano programming) doesn't suck. I also wanted the actual drum hits to sound "softer, and I think EZ Drummer 2 really excels at capturing the sound of a very mellow drummer barely tapping the kit. We often program our drums at the loudest velocity, and this recording has me going to the lowest velocity hits possible.

listened to the first 3 tunes..(ran out of time at work) not sure what to call it but its really well done. I love the dark, dissonant stuff.
Lucid is a trip.. The youtube imagery is a perfect fit.
I'm sure I will enjoy the entire album

Thanx again, guys.
Yeah, I have a problem with editing down my tunes. The way I look at it is now you can pretty easily fast forward and skip ahead, so feel free to do so. There's so much stuff available to listen to a look at, so you have to pick and choose what you like.
anyways, thanx again, guys.
More new stuff in the worx.

I listened to Lucid. Rich and well balanced mix. Unique approach with an attractive sound.

Seems like you're putting out a full album in a time I sweat out a single tune. You're basically leaking music left, right and center - I remember that cool space rock one and you're already like five LPs further. This is pretty astonishing.
