Default dockable properties panel: to show selected "thing" properties and editable

A Dockable Properties Panel which shows properties of the current selected thing.

so When anything is selected this panel display it's properties
Allowing information to be always visible and quickly editable.
This should work for Media item, AIs, Notes , Envelope points and whatever

There should be one for project and other on midi editor.

at least for items, we have the: "Item properties: Toggle show media item/take properties"
Right click it and Dock it.

I would say that it should change to automation item properties, if you select an AI. Currently, it doesn't. There is the other "Envelope: Automation item properties..." for AI. And this one you can't dock.. :/

yes. thank you Heda! hehe i docked that panel just for testing in my 1280 x 800 screen ! whaaaat ! 30% of my screen gone : )

it should be simpler than that. 1 Simple line
and also Automation properties are missing.

anyway i understand that they have more important things to do

Default Dockable Items properties bar

+1

Coming from Cubase, I absolutely love REAPER but this is one of the few things I miss. It's super helpful to see everything in a straight line and to be able to quickly edit transpose & fine tune, stretch algorithms, lengths, color and volume without entering a boxed menu.

In Cubase, this menu also responds to scroll wheel. Pretty effective with fine tune and volumes. And sometimes, manually entering -1db is quicker than trying to drag a button or fader. It was nice to have that always on top.

Please take a look at this: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread....active+toolbar

I guess this is kind of what you are looking for. Plus its configurable.

I installed and it works amazingly well. Only thing missing is fine-tune for cents adjustments...

Maybe MPL integrates it if you make a feature request in the thread I posted.
