Hi guys, here is finally the final version of my theme ANALOG API.

Final means that the theme will be updated only to fix any pointed out bugs and to stay compatible for the next version. But there won’t be any new layout or graphic redesign.

Time for me to stop make graphic but making actual music with this wonderful software!

By the way, if you feel like checking out my music it’s online for free there: http://pyermusic.bandcamp.com/album/...to-dan-roberty

Was fun working on this with you guys!

It looks great on my system. Nice work!

...and those classic API knobs definitely give it that extra "wow" factor.

This theme is awesome.
I am currently using your latest analog api theme and really enjoy working with it.
This new final version and another theme almost released, Tonelux, are freaking beautiful.
I am going to have to switch between each of these themes on every other project I do from now on. :-)

Thanks for your time and effort on all of your themes!

the arrange view / item colours etc is fab, so easy on the eye best i seen in a long time.

found the MCP a little bit cluttered, if i could have room for inserts and sends using the default mcp layout that would be ideal - be good if i could dim /switch off the yellow leds too!

those are only minor thoughts, didn't think i'd like it tbh but when i loaded a project and continuous scroll kicked in too, it was very nice to view indeed.

thanks very much

I can't get this installed no matter what I try.

downloded two files.
Un-rar first.
Un-Zip first

Pt2 will not un-rar. Says file is broken. Downloaded several times.

Put files in Color themes dir. Theme loads but top of tracks say "stretch me"

I think I'm not getting Pt2 maybe?

I actually had an older ver. 4.02 running and have deleted all that.

dear tb-av,
-make sure you have part one and part two in the same location
-unrar part one, you will have a folder
-go into the folder, you have a .reaperthemezip file.
-Don't unzip, just double clic or drag it into reaper, this will install the theme

dear all,
I'm glad you like it! have fun!

dear tb-av,
-make sure you have part one and part two in the same location
====== Both in folder on desktop

-unrar part one, you will have a folder

======= Done - no problem

-go into the folder, you have a .reaperthemezip file.

===== Yep, no problem

-Don't unzip, just double clic or drag it into reaper, this will install the theme

===== Nope, I only get a partial theme. When I look in Reaper color themes I see no directory for API and all I see is API final.zip

I'm beginning to think it's a problem with Reaper seeing my directory structure. Ever since I installed 4.25 as a clean install Reaper can't see back past my user name directory.

It used to see back to drive letters C:\ etc.. But now it stops at ( user name ) DAW .... which is actually

C:\Users\DAW\

I haven't been able to find out why that is. Will ask in other part of forum. Don;t want to mess up your thread.

Just a shot in the dark.

Rename "API final.zip" to "API final.ReaperThemeZip".

Actually I was just shortening it. It is the full name as provided.

Also moved everything under DAW directory. Still didn't work.

When using 7zip, select both files, then choose Extract Here from the context menu:

I have the same problem as TB-AV, when extracting the second rar-file with stuff it expander (I´m on MAC OSX 10.7.4) I get the following message:

"An item or items in the destination conflict with the contents of the archive "analog api v4 final.part2.rar" being expanded"

Any MAC users already tried this?

Thanx, Wolfger

On OSX 10.7.4 I select both and then open them (together) with "The Unarchiver". It works perfectly...

Then you actually do have it installed correctly...and you need to "stretch it".

Hope that helps.

Shane

You have to unzip the reaperthemezip? Normally you just has to drag it on the reaper window...

Yes, that´s how it normally works over here too, and I´ve tried a lot of themes and never ran into a problem.
But it works now.

hehey tv av, so that was the problem?
well strech me means strech me this is the only way I found to have a full screen console and a small mixer layout in the same theme, walter is very complicated on this. Only our dear albert found out a way to do so, but I don't understand his waltering. Maybe I will update the theme once I will be a walter wizard

wolfberb, sorry your are experiencing so many bugs, I would do a hunger strike to have the stash hosting bigger file and just give you a one part theme. Now we working with knob stack, I'm sure it will appen

thanks guys for the IT support

OK.... I think I figured it out. I am running dual monitors stacked. I thought the "stretch me" meant something was missing because it wouldn't move like your animation.

I have to use both monitors to get the entire mixer channel strip.

Pretty much all I could see was the FX/Param/Sends area. Above that was "stretch me" and then yellow square.

So yes, it's installed but I have to use both monitors to see a full strip from top to bottom. I believe I have figured if I use Split Screen Mixer Panel docked it is showing the whole thing from top to bottom.

The console layout is to work in a protools way: you can either have two screen or one if you put the mixer in full screen and toggle its apparition with ctrl+m

If you are familliar with the classic reaper way you better use the split screen layout to have tcp and mcp in one screen

If you prefer the inspector mode of cubase, you can use the desk layout

I've been using the prior version of this one for a while, and everyone who looks at it just loves it. It makes me smile every time I look at it Absolutely fantastic.

The knobs do look better on this new version, but I'm sticking with the older version, which included SideRack.

If you brought back the SideRack layout, I'd be in Heaven

And again...seriously beautiful work.

Default Nice One.

Hello pyerbass,
It looks great....But,
is there a TCP layout that is the same as the previous version? At the same vertical height I can only access half of the controls. I always drag the i/o to tracks to create sends.

If not, I will stick with the older iteration. Which is of course still excellent.

Cheers,
Colin.
