Default MIDI channel fades affects all channels

I have recorded three independent MIDI channels on three tracks. Each track is a different instrument. One of the tracks is a "strings" setting that I want as a background sound for a certain amount of time, then I just want it to fade out. I added a volume envelope from the MIDI control fx panel and added the necessary points for fading it out. That worked great. The problem is, it also faded out the other two MIDI channels. So, my question is this ... can you do independent channel volume control with MIDI tracks, or is there just on main volume? I don't want to adjust velocity, I need to adjust volume, because the strings channel is a single chord held for a few measures. Note that my MIDI keyboard is a Yamaha S90.

Thanks,
-Chris

Just change the "MIDI channel: all" to whatever channel you want in the MIDI control fx panel (aka ReaControlMIDI).
