Are you gonna fix the issue I have also? I've been waiting almost a year now
Thank you!

Updade? (again)
Hi Blankfiles,
Would you please be so kind and take a look at fixing/improving this theme as promised some while ago?
I just love it, so it would be great to have it fully functional.
thanks in advance, Cheers!

Ok i done some quick further testing and see a lot of visual improvements over free version. Here is some feedback:
1. When i select track header with mouse click, it became slightly lighter. This is a usual expected appearance for button-like active UI elements.
But when i select clip, it became dark (sort of inverted). So it behaves in opposite way. This not too logical and confusing.
So maybe change theme somehow so selected clip behaves in same way as selected track header?
2. In compact (laptop) mode transport frame, transport buttons and numeric elements looks slightly off-centered.

Another small glitch faders positions are slightly off-centered.
UPD. This problem appears only if i use old original .config file where max volume limit was set to +24db

Some additional idea. How about toolbar version with glass covered screen look? It may be blue glass or greyscale glass with orange text, only with glass cover effect.

And one more suggestion after few working days.
Meter digits are too dull and small. Feels not too practical when you need some precise visual comparison. Wish they could be slightly larger and brighter.
Also how about add additional track layout with visible meter digits view?

Couple of things:
Is there any chance of a blank 'spacer' panel for the mixer please?
I backed up my settings and loaded the ones that came with the theme, much of which I'm ok with but how do I get back certain things from the backed up settings (I had a good set of auto colour / layout rules I'd like back, for instance)
Cheers.

It's a problem with all themes that attempt to graphically depict db markers like that. It'd be cool if WALTER supported dynamic db marker handling, perhaps just use different graphics with certain "max volume limit" ranges, and if there is no graphic for the specific range, use the default "no db markers" handling, which is a single line at 0db drawn by REAPER

Another thing i really missed in Reaper v4 and v5 theme layouts is large horizontal meters. It was so essential, you can easily see and compare tracks volume without additional dock or master track panel. Tiny vertical meters for tracks is sort of strange design way. But probably this is a request more dedicated to Reaper developers, than to themes developers. Or is is possible to design v4 and v5 themes with horizontal meters?

Yeah, a big horizontal meter TCP layout would work for me too.
By the way, I managed to make a working spacer layout by copying the folder and relevant section from the Hydra RTConfig. Not sure it's the right shade of grey but it's functional enough.

I'm still struggling to integrate this theme and its settings with my existing config.
I've backed up my settings, then I install the theme and the theme works but all my midi devices are disconected and the mapping for all my hardware IO is stuffed. (it even adds MIDI hardware I don't have, but suspect Blankfiles does)
So then I go back to my backup and try to bring in my configuration settings (I'm mostly after all the IO maps)but each time I do that ILogic loses all its menu icons?
How can I keep the theme in one piece and not bork my carefully tweaked out IO setup?

I basically gave up on it because I found something that works better on my 4k monitor. However, I had a bear of a time doing the same thing. Really all I wanted was the general look of the theme with the toolbars included. I ended up just using my existing configuration (instead of importing his) but copied (imported?) all the toolbars from ilogicnext one by one.
I recently came across Reabar. A tool for mananging toolbars. So if you are similar to me, maybe that will help!
EDIT: I see you are after your I/O maps. I do believe you can save them/import them individually, but I am not 100% sure.

Thanks, Yes I've just noted I can save and re-import the audio i/o maps separately so I've got that bit working. Can't seem to do the same for MIDI though, so it looks like I'll have to rebuild all my track templates again so they're pointing at the right midi IO (quite a chore with 7 midi ports each with multiple synths etc hanging off them).
Then I need to rebuild my auto track colour / icon rules....

Crikey, the mess it makes of plugins is outrageous.
How do I get the cockos folder back to showing all the cockos effects?

I've programmed a horizontal meter TCP panel.
Blankfiles is there any reason I can't share the relevant rtconfig section here so others can have this track layout?

That is cool, I'd like to try that with my current theme (that isn't this one) don't see why you can't share it? Should just be able to edit the text file I have to whatever you are using on that section.

Ok, well here goes nothing.
Couple of things to note, I've not fully reprogrammed the logic around collapsing the width of the tcp (I never change the size so I don't need it)so it's a bit funky at narrow widths but it should at least give folk something to work with!
Code:
Layout "HorizontalMeter"
clear tcp.*
set tcp.size [282 122 183]
tcp_folderindent 20
tcp_heights 0 29 46 93 ; supercollapsed, collapsed, small(norecarm), recarm size
set tcp.margin +:maxfolderdepth:1 [0 0 0 0]
set tcp.margin +:folderdepth:1 [0 0 0 0]
set tcp.trackidx h>20 w>1 [0 0 282 122 0 0 1 1]
set tcp.trackidx.margin [6 0 0 0.5]
set tcp.trackidx.color ?recarm [145 46 42] [175 175 175]

So I just thought it might be useful to share the recipe for making a mixer spacer layout for this theme.
First I copied the folder 'MixerSep' from the Hydra theme and added it in to the image folder for Logic Next (there should be 2 files in there mcp_bg.png and mcp_bgsel.png)
I then added this to my RT config file
Code:
Layout "SEPARATOR" "MixerSep"
clear mcp.*
set mcp.size [38 973]
set mcp.folder folderstate<0 h<380 [0] [1 10 34 100 0 1 0 1]
set mcp.extmixer.mode [1]
set mcp.extmixer.position [79 1 78 941 0 0 0 1]
EndLayout
And job's a good'un.
I then set up a rule in SWS Auto Colour / Icon so any track called 'sep' is hidden in the tcp and set to the SEPARATOR layout in the MCP.

Now you mention it. That is the best way of showing the levels in the TCP.

I think the blue one is best and isn't that more like Logic?
I'd personally also like the same blue colour for the midi notes in the editor that someone posted a screenshot of earlier. The 2 blues would match then too.

I've noticed (maybe a bug) in the view menu, it didn't have the right keyboard shortcut command listed to the right of the View Mixer (if that's what it's called).
Thanks!
