Teleprompter with Speed parameter
Hi guys I'm trying to make a teleprompter with video processor. The first step is very easy I just use the text overlay preset and play with the ypos parameter to scroll the text down. What I would like to do is to add a parameter "speed", so that, when it's non-zero, it automatically scrolls the text with a certain speed.
The best way I thought it could be done would be to make the code itself to update the parameter ypos periodically, but I couldn't find a way to do it. Does anybody have any suggestion to try to achieve my purpose? Thanks a lot! |

Not sure if you have audio playing with this or not, but you could use the "scrub" function? Map it to a controller or even your mouse wheel. Wouldn't it work that way?
Or even normal playback with mapping the "Play Rate" button. But would only work in the FWD direction. Try this action: Transport: Scrub/jog (MIDI CC relative/absolute only)

There is a programmatic solution too but it´s not a good idea in this context IMHO. |
