Default Work with midi, bounce to wav...

Hi,

how come it is not as simple as selecting the area you want to have as a wav, choose render settings and hit render?

It is. You just have to select "render time selection" in render dialog.

For this to be automatic (depending on selection), read this thread
(especially from post #17 on).

EricM,
najlepša hvala za podatek. :-)
Render Time selection opcija mi je popolnoma jasna, problem sem imel očitno nekje drugje. Se še učim...

NAS,
Been a long time since i saw a tutorial with no sound.
But it does the trick thanks.

Ni problema, samo moraš bit bolj specifičen pri opisu težave
drugače je težko ugotoviti kaj ni jasno [ENG]

Visual communication is quite efficient for this kind of stuff.

Default still problems.

Still having problems...

To describe the problem a bit more.

I am using two instances of stlyus RMX VSTi.
Both are multitimbral.
I have 8 different midi tracks going to the VSTinstruments.
Am playing back with no problem.

When i am off to render it, so i can sent it to friends, i get an empty file.
With time selection chosen it does render the right time but nothing is in the file.
THe Video NAS suggested did a step in between...
I do not wish to render in place.
I wish to Bounce, export multi midi files to 1 stereo file-wav.
All the fx and mix is taken care in side the VST, so i dont need it to render it inside the Reaper.
THat woudl only cause me extra work.

Suggestion, what am i doing wrong..

If you want render all the MIDI down to one single wave file then just render it

That will work fine

11miles, are you going to "File/Render..." to render your file?

If so carefully check all the criteria and make sure you've correctly selected the options you need. Then use "Online Render" because "Full-speed Offine" doesn't work very well with many VSTis.

Actually it sounds like you may have a routing problem too. Are you sure everything is going to your "Master" and not going directly to your sound card?

Another way of doing it is to set the VSTi track to record the track output, then hit record.
