Can't See Receive Envelopes

Let's say I create an audio send from track 1 to track 2. I can click "trim" on track 1 and toggle a send envelope for the send to track 2. But If I click trim on track 2, I can see the toggle boxes for receive volume, pan and mute, but none of them do anything. Likewise, when I toggle "visible" or "arm," or all three, nothing happens, no envelope appears.

I am using REAPER v. 5.40 64-bit on OSX El Capitan

can confirm. Very interesting, I've never noticed receive envelopes before.

This used to work a few versions ago. It has not been fixed yet.

Thanks for the confirmations. I'm really surprised Cockos would let a bug stick around this long. Do we know if a bug report has already been submitted?
