Default Auto reset audio and MIDI device?

I often leave REAPER running on my iMac with a session open, but power off my UAD Apollo interface, and unplug my USB MIDI controller when I go to sleep.

When I power those back on, I have to go back into audio preferences and without changing any settings just hit the "OK" button before I can start playback, else when I hit play the play cursor just remains stationary.

Is there a way I can have REAPER automatically re-connect my audio and midi device?

Thank you

Try the "mpl_Reset audio and MIDI devices.lua" script. I don't think it can run automatically, but you can assign it a shortcut.
