Default Bump! Multiple icons at Reaper startup.

Hi All,

Does anyone know - is this normal when opening up Reaper?

its not for no reason, do you have a bunch of bridged plugins in the project?

Is it really necessary to start a new thread about it?

Your duplicate thread here:

If you need, you can bump it in the original thread by adding new post.

Hi Jon - Thanks for the message.

The present project has 5 tracks, so far.

Each track had several FX loaded, but not all activated (Reacomp, ReaEQ & UVIworkstation).

Vienna Instruments pro (64 bit) is the only active plugin on each track.

I just removed all plugins, except VI pro, from all tracks.

Closed & reopened Reaper.

The number of little blue icons went down from 10 to 5, so it looks like VI pro is causing them to appear.

VI pro is 64 bit so why is Reaper creating a bridge for this plugin?:

Again,
check your bridging setting for this specific plugin in FX Browser.
(as I did write already in your other thread about week ago),

Oh it's on Mac.. well, so it may be due to settings of some plugins to be treated that way = as separate/independant processes (maybe because they are buggy so that they can crash on them own but not to take the main Reaper process down).
