Default Site license installations

For any questions about site license installations, including classroom licenses, please email support at cockos.

Please note that by default, the REAPER license will only be imported for the currently active user.

If you wish to license REAPER for all users of the computer, first save the license key text to a file named "reaper-license.rk", then:

Windows: copy the REAPER license key file to the same directory as the REAPER application itself. The REAPER application directory is typically C:\Program Files\REAPER or C:\Program Files (x86)\REAPER on Windows.

macOS: copy the REAPER license key file to /Library/Application Support/REAPER/reaper-license.rk

Linux: copy the REAPER license key file to a path next to the REAPER executable (e.g. /opt/REAPER/reaper-license.rk if REAPER was installed to /opt/REAPER).

If you would like more specific information, please feel free to email.
