Default Fabfilter q3

What is the cheapest way to buy Fabfilter Q3 folks. Had a quick search and this is the quickest legit looking one I could find:

https://www.musicmatter.co.uk/fabfil...ownload?gclid=

This site is cheaper and looks plausible, but price for full bundle unusually cheap...

The second site isn't opening here, only domain registering site.
Regarding the price: maybe black week/friday will cause lower price on official site?

You can occasionally pick up a second hand license for Pro Q3 over on the KVR forums. Be cautious, though. Once you sign up there and have your first experience buying a $300 plugin for $40 you'll never be able to stay away from there.

I have a selection of very capable professional plugins, and about 75% of them were bought second hand on KVR.

This is what I have - the essentials bundle. I have better verbs than the pro-r, but I use pro-q and pro-c on every project. He is asking $140 for the three plugins.

Ahh cool advice. I didn't know licence was transferable because some sites advertise it for 1 pc only so I assumed that meant it was fixed!
Does KVR have a process for verifying licences are legitimate?

Thanks for the advice. How many updates are normally included with a new purchase (roughly)?

It's not really about the number of updates. Minor updates (bug fixes) are free, but they don't happen that often. New features come with new versions and you pay for the upgrade. So basically, take their plugins as they are and expect to pay for anything new they might come up with.

As for verifying legitimate licenses, KVR doesn't have means to do that for you. Read the marketplace stickies and warnings, follow the feedback given to sellers and buyers and don't use friends & family with PayPal...unless you really know and trust the seller.

Other than that, like Mind Riot said, KVR is the way to go with new FF purchases. FabFilters own loyalty discount system might have worked 10 years ago, but not so well anymore. Friend referral discount isn't that much and you don't get referrals anymore like people in the past might have gotten. Your personal discount is split to price groups and you get a base discount in all of them. But owning more of their plugins doesn't reduce the price of all of their plugins. You get more discount within and below the price group where you already own their plugins, not above. Meaning, even if you own all of their plugins in lower groups, you won't get any further reduction in the higher one(s).

FabFilter bundles have sometimes pretty good offers. But then you are tied to those bundles in that you can only sell the whole bundle, not individual plugins from them.

£99 for the Total Bundle is crazy low. Even with the 50% discount you get from Fabfilter if you're a student the Total Bundle is still £288!

If that site - Shopusia - is legit (which it seems to be), then you've definitely found a superb deal!

Too good to be true deal from a company who sells toys, cosmetics, pet supplies and sports gear? Right.

Worth noticing that bundle is supposedly Windows only. I could post links to FREE packages with that same odd restriction, but rather not, they are all cracks or scams.

Note from FabFilter:

Can I safely buy a (second hand) FabFilter license via an eBay seller?

Most of the times, (second hand) FabFilter licenses that are offered for sale on eBay are not legit.

A FabFilter license can only be transferred to another person via the FabFilter account of the seller, using the official license transfer feature. If the seller does not agree to do this, he is not selling a legit license, and you should not purchase.

Please keep the following things in mind when purchasing (second hand) FabFilter plug-ins via eBay or other websites:

If the price looks too good to be true... it's probably too good to be true.
If people offer OEM licenses, or Windows- or Mac-only licenses: scam, these types of licenses do not even exist.
The only valid way to sell/transfer FabFilter licenses, is via a FabFilter user account.
If you are in doubt about an eBay offer, e-mail us and we'll have a look!

Shopusia even doesn't open here. It brings me right to domain registering site, so I wouldn't trust it.

The best price I've been able to find for FF-Q3 is at LOOT Audio.

https://www.lootaudio.com/

Just bought Q3 myself.

Now considering the MB plugin after further Demo'ing.

Same site. Could be country differences or something. Changing to $ shows $135.06 (Save 25%) here.

Interesting.

I just looked again, and my cost was £88.96 [$108 US].

And they gave me, like, 5 or 6 free software [nothing i was interested in].

Will likely get the FF-MB in the next day or so ... £88.96

Ok, that seems like the difference VAT would make for us in EU.
