Default Is there a way to change playback rate to a preselected value?

Is there some way of toggling between playback rate of one and some of other desired value? I find myself trying one other pitch for reference, but I have to hunt for it every time with the knob, and it's an inconvenience.

Thanks. I don't see any specific option to do what I want. It looks like one has to use the dial and hunt for it each time.

A simple way to do it, maybe not the best, is to change the tempo and then go back and forth between "Control>Z" and "CONTROL+SHIFT>Z".

x-raym has a script called "X-Raym_Set master playrate to 100%.lua." i believe it's probably available via reapack. it seems to take its value directly from the filename so, if you save another copy of the script and name it "X-Raym_Set master playrate to 150%.lua," running the script will set the playrate to 150%. you could place these two scripts into toolbar buttons to toggle them. you could also create a cycle-action to do so. or, via key commands, something like alt-shift-uparrow/downarrow.

also, archie has a script in peapack called "Change playback rate selected items to (ctrl-custom value)" and another called "Change playback rate selected items to (custom value)." maybe these are useful as they are item-based.
