Default [Solved] sort of..Unable to delete selected item issue

Create a track
Create a empty item
select the item
click on the empty track panel so the only thing left selected is the item in arrange page
press delete key -- no dice

This is also an issue when trying to select and delete an item through script when the item is selected but not focused or clicked on.

There's an action called "Item: Remove items" that does it the way you want. (I assigned to Alt+Delete)

@poplomop

Thanks for pointing that one out it does the job.

I'm not sure why we have to use an action to delete items in this way.
Should be default IMHO
There seem to be a few issues with selection scenarios

Thanks.

'SWS/BR: Focus arrange' is the key here as the delete key has nothing to delete even though the item is selected due to focus.

In this case either the track is focused or the arrange page is focused.

'Remove items/tracks/envelope points (depending on focus)' 'default' for delete key.

So it's one or the other it seems so we need 2 delete methods then ?
1 default and 1 custom.
