Default Help restoring Action List customizations

Hi-

In the process of trying to solve another problem (http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=64898) I reset REAPER to factory defaults.

I back up all my REAPER settings regularly and almost everything is back to normal after selective restoring, but my Action List is missing all my Custom Actions and shortcuts.

Does anyone know what file(s) I need to restore to get these back? At least I hope they're stored in a file... I export them from time to time, but not as frequently as I do backups.

Thanks!

-Susan

I'm pretty sure it's here. I may be wrong, though.

Susan.... you do know of course that you can export all the actions to a file name of your choosing? In this way, you actually could have several sets of actions...

i.e., I export one called something like
ALL MY ACTIONS 2010.ReaperKeyMap

I also export a few selected sets as well....

I do the same thing for MenuSets.... one file that includes the whole sheebang and a few specific ones as well

Hi hopi-

Yes, and I do that, but not as often as I back up my AppData folder (which is nightly), so the exports weren't as up-to-date.

I thoughtlessly ran that "reset to factory defaults" when I should have just restarted REAPER after backing up my reaper.ini to solve the problem I was having.

Anyway, lesson learned, all's well now, and I'm very glad I had those backups!

Thanks-

-Susan
