Default Latency compensation broken (FIXED)

I noticed this with version 5.71 rc2, but I am not sure, if this happened before... therefore I post it here and not in the pre release section...

1. When looping a time selection, timebased plugins like LFO Tool, Kickstart or Volume Shaper are not compensated anymore, if you put a plugin which causes latency in the chain before... with every loop cycle itīs getting out of sync by the latency amount caused by the plugin before...

To test:
a. insert a kick sample (or something with sharp transient) on every beat and loop the section with a time selection
b. insert i.e. reaFIR on the channel followed by one of the named before
c. choose a trimming preset with synced to a 1/4 bar in the LFO plugin (means, envelope shape like Attack=0, Decay= 250ms, Sustain=0, Release=short)
d. Play the loop

e. First loop plays normal, second loop cuts off the latency of reaFIR from the sound, third loops cuts of 2 times latency of reaFIR and so on...

2. Synced browser preview is not in sync with the project anymore...
(Autostart checked, Start on bar checked, Tempo match on)

To test:

a. Insert a full drumloop in the timeline and loop it
b. play it
c. preview the same loop from the browser, while sequencer is playing

The previewed loop is out of sync by about 20-30 ms on my side...
I cannot remember that happened before...

Can anybody confirm this 2 issues???

Moved to the pre-release forum (if it mentions a pre-release, it doesn't belong in the main forum!).

Can you reproduce with any REAPER-included plug-ins? If not, provide links to the others?

Can you make a test project that behaves differently in 5.71rc2 than in 5.70?

I said, I am not sure if it is related to 5.71 or if it happened before...

With Reaper plugins itīs afaik not possible but the most easy one would be Kickstart: http://www.kickstart-plugin.com/

Choose inside Kickstart the preset short kick (like shown in the image)

Just tested:

Latency issues inside the chain were introduced in 5.71... 5.70 works fine!!!

Browser preview not in sync with project is already present in 5.70...so this happened before...

Hmm yeah if I play it through a hardware output it's out of sync here, slightly, but then it is in 5.70 as well. If I tell it to play through the selected track (and select the track), then it nulls completely.

This works better than with hardware outs... thx for hinting...

But did you try this by looping the sequencer??? Itīs a quite weird behavior...
Itīs in sync... starts flanging... starts delaying... back in sync...sometimes even in the same loop cycle...

Itīs most noticeable with a full drumloop (best 4 on the floor) with a heavy kick...even without any tempo match /timestretch...
Seems, there are little flaws in the browser preview...
