Default Reaper and adding programs

I'm getting this popping up now when i open Reaper; "The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired." I should note, I've tried rescanning and re-adding the programs but to no avail..The effects/programs are EZ Drummer and EZ Mix...They're in my Program Files folder but when I click Edit under Options/Preferences and it asks to Add the programs, I go to the exact source, add them, click Apply, click OK and then restart my computer..Nothing..Any advice?..I know there's a thread on this but it's from 4 years ago but it doesn't help me in the least

I suppose this is is a VST but not a VST3 ?

You need to check if your vst path is set correctly.

Did you try [clear cache/re-scan] ?

I think this is not supposed to find plugins not found by just [re-scan], but I seem to remember it sometimes did.

One other thing: did you install the Toontrack plugins using their ToonTrack Product Manager program as recommended?

TT installs thier stuff in a different location to most other plugins & if you just downkloaded & added them to your usual plugin folders, it is likely that it WILL break.

Try re-doing it all from TTProduct Manager.

Here's how it happened...I had went in to record some keyboards and one of the vst effects wasn't there but the EZ Mix and Drummer were..So I hit Rescan and restarted the computer and the vst for the keyboard was there and the EZ Mix and drummer weren't..I believe it was after this that I tried Clear Cache/Rescan and restarted the comp. but the TT programs were gone..Hope this helps..
