troubles with SWS versioning and linux reaper
It seems that SWS is not compiled for linux as quickly as it is for Mac/PC, and that the version check on startup uses the latest (Mac/PC) version to test whether to pop up a dialog alerting the user that a new version is available, correct?
If that's correct, is there any way to disable the pop-up? Also: how can I tell what version of SWS I am currently running? Also: the linux download of SWS doesn't have the version string in the file name, so is there any way (besides the file timestamp, which isn't always reliable) to tell when the linux version has been updated to the latest version, without downloading/installing and running the check-for-updates action? |

Extensions > About SWS Extension. The current version is shown there as well as the options to disable the checks for new versions.
The latest Linux builds of SWS are at https://cfillion.ca/files/sws/2.10.0.1-linux/.
