My statement was mostly related to the still relatively dynamically occurring changes to the plugins (feature requests and subsequent bug fixes), and the missing knob sensitivity adjustments.

I haven't found any other bugs (apart from the delay), but ofc I can give you further feedback and feature requests (which might cause new bugs when implemented btw).
  • Since you brought it up, with Tape, for example, I first wondered what the Play and Rec buttons were doing... Well, not what I expected. Transport status info is a fun feature (which I like)
IMO it would be even cooler if they were interactive. PLAY could be used for tape start/stop effects, REC for an alternative harmonics structure. Just an idea... but transport status is also cool, as I said.

  • Exciter+Sub would benefit greatly from a filter for pre auditioning. Could be assigned to FREQUENCY ALT+Drag for example.

I didn't want to put too much features in each plugin, so they stay easy to use.

The scroll speed etc. will not affect functionality ... If I make changes, I care the plugins sound as they did before with same settings. (Only exception is high loss in tape mode in the delay)... so it will be safe using the plugins in your sessions.

If I really change sth or make really new features, there will be a whole new plugin (i.e. DelayMachine2)

Don't be offended. Just it was blatant to us that the versioning on index2 is not updated. or we didn't get each time 1.1 ;-) Probably, I guessed, you updated the urls string, just forgetting the versioning string.

It's okay. I didn't forget the versioning, I didn't versioning. You can forget that 'forget'.

Versioning is even more effort to me and slows me down. And at this point I don't see it urgent necessary.

[EDIT]To be exact: I didn't share programming things before. I just made programs/toools for one purpose, mostly hardware related.
Versioning means establishing a workflow for me to don't get confused in Version Numbers and keep me more organized...
I had no need for such before, so I didn't do it yet. I see the advantages of versioning in ReaPack, clearer and clearer.
Maybe I do it soon.[/EDIT]

And just to be clear for everyone:
Don't worry: In future I will not make any changes to plugins, that would change the audio output at the same settings.
If there is a new feature, it is 'off' if you load the settings of the version, that didn't have the feature.
(Bugfixes may change audio, but only if there is bugged audio)

For advanced feature adding or other advanced changes I will create new plugins.

Ok but it helps the users do not get confused. It's good and established practice ;-)

BTW you helped me with the upload of other files. It works :-) As usual: many things (too many) are hidden. And one should discover in this way. Fine ... but it slows down deliveries and development :-)

I think/hope it's fixed. You can 'reinstall' DelayMachine.
Please be so kind, check it and tell if it it's fixed.

You can now 'reinstall' Exciter+Sub if you like: (Still no versioning )
New hidden feature: Click on the frequency knobs with option/alt to solo the filters (pre FX) (as you wished, Zeno)

I'm not often do such hidden features...not a fan. Sometimes as a backdoor for me as the developer...

[you can try clicking the 'e' of the Lexikan-logo on the reverb plugins to modify the FDL of the algo...at own risk ]

Hey Tukan, Merry Christmas

I just leave this feature request before I forget it:

Maybe you can look at the tcp/mcp view implementation in the upcoming year,
I would especially like to see that compressor graph for compressor2 there...
Have a great rest of the year

Merry X-Mas everyone!

Thanks to all!

I thought I'd share a YT comment on my plugins:
"I would like to thank you for your plugins, they are running very well on my Linux reaper, you really brought something that I and others really needed, one of the best things I found this year, thank you again and keep up this work, very successful , and best wishes friend "

Isn't that great?

I hoped I could share the BETA of "Delaymachine 2" tonight. But in the last moment I crashed my ReaPack-Repo...hope at least this works again.

...so "Delaymachine 2" will take a few hours more to arrive. But: It is huge! Really!

Thanks for the fx package Tukan.

I believe in EQT-1A the hi freq knob should read High frequency. Right now it seems to have a typo in there.

Thanks for the x-mas present friend Tukan! Merry Christmas. My first comment without listening: Resizable GUI? It does not fit on my laptop screen.

HD-Screens are quite common since years...
Maybe I'll make a "compact version" or something like that.

A compact version we have always, hitting the UI button seeing the magical sliders.

As you know, that's not really my attempt. Just the opposite. We need GUIs for so many good reasons: See at first glance, what we dealt in, see if it's a slider, a knob or a switch, have a good feeling by looking a pleasing GUIs...

I'll make a "small display version", but it will take a few days.

I thought, I'll wait till the first reports are received. So I don't have to do everything twice.

[EDIT]Do you really think sliders are enough? I could spare a lot of time... [/EDIT]

I'm amazed:
No bug reports on Delaymachine 2 yet? Did someone even try it yet? Feedback? (I know, you all probably have other things to do these days )
Are there no bugs this time?

(Currently I'm working on MCP/TCP support for all the plugins... that'll be cool again. Most are done...)

Lexikan2 sounds nice but it feels like the tail modulation is more aggressive than the real thing. Maybe a modulation strength knob?

I'll continue to play around with it.

On Delaymachine2 if you wiggle the hpf knob on the right channel very fast you get volume spikes of around +30db. The left channel doesn't seem to have this problem.

Default Lexicon Reverb Window Cut Off

Tried a few of the Tukan Suite. Nice job my friend! Current issue is that the Lexicon Reverb gui is cutoff at about the half-way mark. Can't seem to resize it. Windows 10. Checked the display settings, they appear to be ok. Really can't use the plugin. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear this. Usually you can resize the window by just dragging the bottom-right corner.
(often there is no resize mouse-cursor shown, but it works.)

As a nonlinear algorithm, this might benefit from the upcoming per-plugin slot oversampling option Reaper will provide.

You made a really good work here. I sent your plugins to a experient mixing engineer and he got impressed!

Could I please ask a feature?

An analog-type channel strip.

Thank you so much

Hello Tukan,

thanks so much for the great plugins, I am looking forward to try them out.

However, I have some issues with the EQ1.1. I installed the plugins through reapack with the reposatory link you provided. But When I load The EQ1.1 on a track in Reaper I got the message "import can't find file firhalfband.jsfx-inc".
I tried to reinstall the EQ1.1 but I got the same message. It only happens for the EQ1.1, all the other plugins load up fine. What can I do? Is this just me or it happens to others?

Thanks

Default I'm back!

Hey everybody!

Thank you all for your words here!!
As you might have noticed, I was very busy making the SumThing and D#-Treasure.
(Hope you like these too)

Next future project has to be a compact version of Delaymachine 2, I think.
...which the next plugins will be? We'll see (I have requests about a channel strip, guitar tools, SSL fusion...)

Other plans here are:
- reducing the overall CPU load (idea: if the channel currently runs no audio, the plugins takes minimal CPU)
- Eventually get oversampling to work for plugins with saturation
- learn to implement MIDI-functionality to JS-Plugins
-...and more

So, stay tuned and maybe visit my patreon page again...

Aloha! Tukan
