Default MiniLab 3 first four macro knobs not working

I just got a MiniLab 3 and have set it up in REAPER (just enabled the main MIDI input). The integration with Analog Lab when I'm in "Arturia mode" is working great with one strange exception.

The preset browsing works fine, including navigating categories.
Also the macro knobs 5-8 work fine, usually changing effect levels. And faders 1-4 also work fine.

However, when I turn knobs 1-4 (usually brightness, timbre, time and movement), the corresponding macro knobs move in Analog Lab, but have no effect on the sound. I have to move them with my mouse to actually make the sound change. The Minilab display also shows the values I am setting each knob to, but it will only actually change the sound if I use the mouse in the plugin.

I've asked this question over on the Arturia forums, as I suspect its some kind of issue on their side, but thought I'd check in here in case anyone had a good idea of what I can do to resolve this.

I’ll. check mine when I’m free.
Have you set up the minilab for input / output control in reaper>options>preferences >midi devices?

I've had a MiniLab 3 since it came out, and have exactly the same issue in Reaper. Works fine in other DAWs. It's so strange that the knobs move on screen, but it doesn't affect the sound. Also if you click the knob with the mouse, and move it just a tiny bit, the sound will "jump" to where its supposed to be.

I have reported this to Arturia, the confirmed the problem, and said they've added it to their bug list. That was in May, and I've not heard any updates since.

ah good to know I'm not alone, and strange that it works in other DAWs. On the Arturia forum they asked me to try with the VST 2 version, although I've not had the chance yet.

I ran into the same issue on both Windows and MacOS.

I confirm that the VSTi version of the plugin does not have this issue - only the VST3 version does.
