MBP - Music not happening?

So long story short,
I bought a MacBook Pro with Retina Display, OSX Tarzan and some Beats headphones, then installed Reaper and Kontakt but..

The Music is Not Happening??

I don't know what could be wrong,
but I mean.. cmon!

For the $5000 I paid I expected it to make music Out-of-the-Box, right?
Something like J.S. Bach meets Franz Ferdinand, with a pinch of U2, Kraftwerk, White Stripes and Kaki King combined..

I wanted to incoporate the Excellence in my life, be part of the Hip Clinical Design lifestyle,
heck, I even bought the Glasses/Plaid shirt combo and began growing a Beard..

But this ain't doing nothin'!

So where is it that I have to click in Reaper for the MacBook Pro to begin making MY Music??

Wouldn't hangin a wall-sized Warhol poster, or Steve Jobs/Elon Musk portrait be of help?

It's basically the same procedure as on Windows.

Check the following things, in general:

1) Is the correct audio device selected in Reaper's Audio Preferences?
2) Is the Track set up correctly (Record Arm + Input Monitoring enabled, MIDI Input channel)

In addition make sure that the MIDI Channel of the input device or MIDI file matches the MIDI Channel of the Kontakt instrument.

You just have to be confident with the iVoice iCommands.

Oh, I noticed you didn't specifically make a disparaging commant on Windows there. That's required for the Mac to recognize your worthiness.

I would'a never thought it was that Simple!
I'm like so from the past sometimes..

I'm gonna give it a go and see what happens,
but the microphone is not Bluetooth either so like, no guarantees right..

I'm not sure bro,
but you might be right because I was having problems gettin through with IVoice ICommands..

I was reeelly Shouting with all I had, but the signal was so Faint..
I even thought I may not be Gangsta enough for the task!

Nonsense!

It's things like this that make me think I need an Assistant sometimes,
so they can do the rough monkey-work and I'm free for what's important, for ME and the World... CREATION!
