Default No sustain switch recorded

Hey,

Don't now how, but for some reason my piano chords stay ringing when i stop playback of my piano part. I can't remember it doing this in the beginning. It stops when I reset/go back to bar 1.

Did I turn something off that I shouldn't have?

Who knows? Maybe it's just a dodgy piano plugin. What is it?

FWIW, if you're on Windows, F3 serves as a panic button, and sends MIDI all notes off, IIRC.

Let's not bother to troubleshoot the piano then. Native Instruments, presumably?

Your title says there's no sustain switch recorded.... were you trying to record a sustain switch?

Maybe you turned on something that you shouldn't have. Maybe....

Options > Preferences > Plug-ins > VST
"Don't flush synthesizer plug-ins on stop/reset"

or

Options > Preferences > Plug-ins > VST
"Don't send noteoffs or pitch reset messages on stop/reset"

Are there any incongruous events listed in the MIDI editor's events list?

Otherwise, SWIM has a plugin that might help:
