A bit obvious, but have you tried doing a "clear/rescan" in the VST settings window, just in case?

A bit obvious, but look in the VST folder and see if they're there.

I'm sorry if i didn't indicate that i've done all the basic troubleshooting steps: putting them in the vst folders, rescanning, quitting/opening eaper. I even tried putting one of those 32bit plugin .dll files and reaper sees it, but not the SAFE plugins.

Sorry, but it's not easy to help with minimal information.

Are these the SAFE plugins from http://www.semanticaudio.co.uk/ ? I'd download them myself to have a look (if free), but TBH, I'm struggling even to navigate that site, so a direct link to the downloads page would help.

What's them? .dll files? What are your VST directories? Which ones did you put them in? Why more than one?

Putting what 32bit plugin .dll file where?

To start with, please copy your VST paths from

Options > Preferences > Plug-ins VST

and paste below so we can check for typos.

Thank you for offering help. It's working now. I dunno what happened the last time i'm trying to use it.

Here's the download link: http://www.semanticaudio.co.uk/#

Go to Research > SAFE Plugins > then click on your OS.

I think it's nice because it's free but has visuals like in FabFilter C, something ReaComp doesn't have.

I also have this weird liking to portable VSTs/VSTis that doesn't need installations or registrations.

How responsive! There is already a workaround for the problem Reaper has in connecting to these plugins posted in the somewhat basic user guide.

Well done the developer, but let us hope the developer will also devote some time to fixing the problem in his/her/its plugins that causes this.

I am now officially tempted to at least give the reverb and the comp a go.
